Older device work is stored in this browser profile. Another browser or device cannot retrieve it. The Composer backup contains supported draft content; the separate raw export preserves all older device data. Inspect the download before restoring it to this device.
More backup and restore options
The device backup includes draft fields, saved source material, gathered material, and saved Ask answers. Signed-in users can also download a complete backup containing account notes, bookmarks, sessions, preferences, named drafts, saved Ask answers with their evidence, and verse collections. Account restore adds missing account items after a preview and keeps anything already in the account. Device restore remains a separate action.
This adds missing account notes, bookmarks, sessions, preferences, named drafts, saved Ask answers, and verse collections included in the backup. Existing account items stay unchanged. Your device draft, gathered material inbox, and Saved Ask on this device stay unchanged.
Editor fields in backup files use LF line endings. Files containing CR or CRLF in those fields cannot be opened; saved source text keeps its original line endings.
Replace this device's Composer draft, saved source material, gathered material, and saved Ask answers? A copy of the current local data will remain available through Download previous backup. Account data stays unchanged. Close older Composer tabs opened before this update before replacing.
